I thoroughly enjoyed the chance to give a lecture recital in Winnetka at a beautiful French restaurant called Mirani’s this week.  I performed for a distinguished collection of guests at a private party and featured a set of works by Chopin, a few operatic fantasies and some Bach.  The event reminded me that as much as I love sharing music by performing, there’s nothing better than getting to talk about and explain its subtleties.
