A whole day of Schubert? What more could a music nerd ask for?!

Schubert’s birthday, January 31st, is always a wonderful day of music-making.  This year I joined the Liederstube in Chicago’s Fine Art’s Building.  I performed with singers such as: Eric Miranda-baritone; Oliver Camacho-tenor; and Kaitlin Foley-soprano.  Even my girlfriend, a scientist and music enthusiast, sang in a jam of Der Lindenbaum!

If you’re a Schubert enthusiast or fan of lieder, the Liederstube in the Fine Arts Building runs once a month in Chicago and anyone can attend!  Simply come with some art songs and prepare to jam.
